General setup, access to software
Access on x2go
- Each person is assigned a username (format studentXX) and a password
- Each user has their own folder: /home/USERNAME
Software
- To use Scisoft, type
scisoftin the terminal where you will run IRAF and friends - Editors:

firefox - PDF, PS viewer:
atril - Image viewer:

Data
- Data from observations go automatically to
/course_data - These are READ-ONLY! Copy the file you are working on first to your home directory
- Teachers, tutors and observers: I'll give you the password for the data account for emergencies…
